New requirements for the design of boring bars are considered. For objectivity of the results of the study, certification of all boring bars connections was carried out. The dependences of rigidity of adaptive boring bars as part of technological system of a vertical milling machine on the variable load for various conditions of assembly of bar parts are obtained.
